Flow maps are a type of cartography map that combines flow charts with maps. In this map, migration is followed between different continents and countries. It shows a large migration coming from Europe to all other parts of the world. Many went to either South America or North America. Flow charts show the movement of objects to a certain place, and it this case they are measuring people migrating. It does not show each country and has some distortion.
