Isotach maps are a type of contour maps that depict windspeed. This map shows where the wind speeds are the greatest along a certain area. The different colors on the map show the different levels of speed of the wind. The dark blue shows when the windspeed is greatest, and the light blue is when it is not as great. The lines show the constant speed of wind along an interval.
